Summary
Goro wonders if the stars know that they are appreciated for centuries after they live and die. That they are the subject of documentaries and philosophies and songs. That they are a greater treasure to the world than any single person has ever been or ever will be.
Probably not. Even the stars don’t get happy endings.
Goro intends to spend his last night alive alone. But of course, his intentions mean little when Akira gets the idea in his head that they should do one last thing Goro never got to do: See the stars outside of the light pollution of Tokyo.
