Summary
Once Geralt realises that Jaskier actually is capable of keeping a secret, he starts noticing just how much Jaskier doesn’t talk about. Once he notices, it is glaringly obvious that there is more to the bard than meets the eye. Some part of him is itching to ask, but it is pretty clear that Jaskier prefers to keep certain things to himself, so Geralt minds his own business.
--
Jaskier, Jaskier’s numerous secrets, and Jaskier’s continued presence in his life is a mystery to Geralt.
Or: Geralt is a well-meaning idiot.
