With the rise of Hawk Moth, a new hero must take to the streets of Paris. However, it's far too risky to even consider choosing the new holders of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous. What if this Hawk Moth manages to get his hands on them? What if the holders end up corrupt and use their newfound powers for evil? Or worse, track down every miraculous on the surface of Earth and harness all of their abilities.Master Fu cannot take such a risk. The Butterfly Miraculous winding up in the wrong hands was one thing, but for evil to get it's claws on the powers of Creativity and Destruction? A calamity would surely rise. No, he cannot entrust anyone with those miraculouses, not yet at least. He needs someone vulnerable enough to test the waters of Paris, to act as it's protector and fend off Hawk Moth's forces until those worthy could bear the burdens of such powers. And what animal shows more vulnerable, than the opossum?
