the fall festival

The middle of October meant that the Fall Festival had arrived- marking the beginning of the holidays in the city. After that, it was only two weeks until Halloween, and then the holiday season really began. Every year, the town held the huge festival in Jordan park, a quick drive away from East High. It had been going on for years, a Salt Lake City tradition that all of its residences participated in.It was the event of the season, with activities and offerings that made it seem like it was straight out of a Hallmark movie. There were carnival rides that were probably put together in less than an hour, immersive haunted houses, fall-inspired games to play that were based off of classic carnival games, and all of the best autumn treats. And, of course, a pumpkin patch. It was one of EJ’s favorite days of the year, second only to Thanksgiving, and this year he got to share it with his girlfriend.~Fluffy Portwell evening at the Fall Festival.
