Go Home Gwen

Gwen held onto him tight, as if it would be the last time she would be able to. It might very well be, given how things were between them. “I’m so glad you’re okay,” she whispered breathlessly, relief flooding her.The first thing that told her things were off was how Miles felt against her. She swore he had been taller than her, and he was less muscular than she remembered. And instead of the refined Spider-Man suit, he was wearing a costume made of cheap fabric. The real give away was how Miles looked at her without any understanding, with only the faintest familiarity. “I’m sorry, are you another Spider-person?” he asked, lost. Her eyes widened in response, stomach falling at the realization. She isn’t in the right universe. She’s not even in the right time.–The Go Home machine doesn’t send Gwen home. Instead, she’s sent back in time, to the basement of Earth-1610’s Peter Parker.
