ARES ADAMASTOS

Come to me, oh, Muse, bring the sacred fire to my lips, so that I might write truly of those things which have not come to pass, to sing truly of the nature of things, if not the fact, and to be worthy of the holy inspiration you have given me.Sing, now, of the pride of Zeus’ son, which spurred him to the greatest ambition, leading him to seek the crown and throne of his father, causing such devastation as the world has never seen since the clashes of Titans and the fall of the Sky. Sing of his queen, of his lover, of his brothers in arms, and the traitors who flung him into the house of Hades.____Or, Ares is exiled to the mortal realm for murder, meets Persephone and bonds with her more, and this changes everything.
