Summary
As if on cue, a window larger than the one across the room appeared where the cobweb had been. A small set of hands unlatched it from the opposite side and slowly pushed it open, to where lilting music drifted into the room through the crack; flute. It was beautiful and skillfully played, and light began pouring out, filling the room with the same timing as the music. The cold gray stone faded into a warm, sun-stained yellow, the cobwebs and dust getting swept out of the room by a floating broom that ushered them out the door. Bright wooden tables sprung onto the floor out of midair, bending under the weight of books and tomes and glass bottles filled with strange, fizzy liquids. Bookshelves and instruments lined the walls, with strung flowers and herbs keeping them company. That same sigil that had appeared on the door earlier was now fixed permanently to the wall in those same glimmering gold marks that flickered and hummed.
a fantastical story of love, friendship, family, and finding where you belong.
