A thread that joins

Felix takes in a breath and looks between the floor and his daughter. “Wait— Is Yumi doing that? Is— Is it magic?”“Yes. It seems like Yumi is a witch after all,” Jeongin confirms slowly, and Felix pales. “I think she can only do telekinesis for now— and only on light objects, so not furniture or anything, but… this will probably complicate some things.”“It certainly will!” Felix exclaims, and Yumi squeaks in worry, so Felix softly apologizes before he looks up to Jeongin with a concerned expression and lowers his voice. “I–I don’t know much about magic, Innie. I know I’m best friends with a wizard, but— she’s a baby! I can teach her to walk or to talk or to distinguish shapes and colors but I can’t teach her magic!”“I can help, Lixie— I will help.
