Summary
It’s all Mu Qing can do not to bodily push the deputy out of this room, and out of his palace entirely and he’s just about to command him out when the child – Feng Xin! – opens his eyes.
“You’re pretty,” he announces in a childish voice of utter finality, when his gaze lands on Mu Qing. “Who are you?”
“I’m Mu Qing,” he finds himself saying, reaching out to take Feng Xin from his deputy’s arms. “I’m taking care of you for a while.”
Feng Xin gets hit by a de-aging curse, Mu Qing somehow ends up taking care of him.
