Summary
Jon most certainly died in the Panopticon. Held in his lover’s arms with hope of a better life somewhere else, he drifted off into darkness. It’s rather surprising then, when he immediately wakes up in an intact Panopticon with no sign of Martin and his body twisted into the form of a hideous monster.
