Unsweet Dreams in Sea

Vos was tired. More so than he’d been in a long time. The dimensions of the cage made for the most uncomfortable sleeping positions. He hadn’t taken a good rest in… well, he wasn’t really sure. You’d think that in such a dark and quiet place, getting shuteye would be easier. The adventurer sighed and slumped down into one of the corners, hoping his exhaustion was greater than his discomfort. The walls were as cold and unforgiving as ever so he crossed his arms, trying to retain what meager body heat he had. A quiet lull emanated from the water pillars below, a vaguely comforting melody harboring the monsters they held. Despite everything, it didn’t take long for sleep to overtake him.
