During the attack on the Republic of Pirates, a disoriented and hurt Stede drowns in the harbor, but something takes pity on him and gives him another chance. Brought back to life, he must find his way back to Ed, his crew, and his own self-acceptance- all three of which are rather difficult, when you've been resurrected with a giant, blue fish tail and a set of gills.The age of piracy is threatening to end, he's half-dead and the other half sea creature, and his family is scattered to the wind- but Stede's faced worse odds in his life, he's sure.It's really not so bad, once you get used to it!
