raven dies and strat takes matters into his own hands. three days later, another raven returns, unharmed but changed, somehow.i don't really know how to explain this. it's more '19th century gothic novel that scandalised and delighted readers' than 'bat out of hell fanfiction'. the thesis of this story is that teenagerhood is death and rebellion is murder, and that death is teenagerhood and resurrection is murder is rebellion. do i know what that means? maybe!a lot of this fic also dwells on becoming lost and what it is to be lost. cant say more for fear of spoiling it but rest assured its very fun <3
