Summary
Stede didn’t spend nearly enough time cherishing Ed’s hair as he should, as he was afraid it would come across as odd. Maybe Ed wouldn’t like to have his hair played with. Other than a few sharp tugs on the coils in bed, or the occasional brush behind Ed’s ear, he prevented his hands from gracing the salt and pepper strands.However, in his present situation, Stede found this to be nearly impossible.
