Summary
It had been replaced, along with all thoughts of Bunny and the murder, with an ongoing chorus of Henry, Henry, Henry. I assume, looking back on it, that Henry must have felt the same way. It was, of course, the reason he had knocked on my door: a distraction. And so I did not protest but rather encouraged the taller man as he loosened my tie further, pulling it off and pushing me back onto my small bed. The gentle way he still insisted on handling me despite our position - as though I were a piece of fine china or a shivering hypothermic in the snow - caused a rush of emotion to surge through me and my cheeks to warm even further as he climbed on top of me, not putting his weight onto me but straddling me, and began to mouth down my neck._________________Or, what they did to Bunny finally got to Henry, and he turns to Richard for a distraction.
