Whirlwind Breakout

Despite being born with the gift of super speed, Sonic the Hedgehog had just been living a pretty unremarkable life doing gig economy deliveries in Central City, yearning for a chance to do great things with his power. When Dr. Robotnik first turned up and began terrorizing the city with his advanced technology and countless robotic minions, it was time for Sonic to rise to the challenge if he wanted to live up to his heroic ambitions. It got more complicated when he met the young, forlorn outcast Tails, and offered to take him in. Sonic has to learn fast about being a hero and a friend if he wants to thwart the doctor's evil scheme and help the fox find his confidence. An alternative universe where I take heavy inspiration from the source material and then just do whatever I want while trying to keep the vibes relatively faithful(ish).
