Before You Go

Today, Ann arrives late at Shiho’s door, adrenaline still coursing through her veins in the aftermath of a particularly close call in Mementos. They’d pulled through in the end, with Akira managing to land the finishing blow while the rest of them were pretty much dead on their feet, but they’d had to call it quits after that, too exhausted to conceivably do much more good in there.Ann has since healed all her injuries, and thus the only thing that ails her as she rings the bell is her jitters, but those alone are enough to leave her feeling unsteady, picking at her skirt and shifting her weight until the door slides open.Shiho is largely able to walk unassisted these days, though she still uses a cane most of the time. When their eyes meet, Shiho raises an eyebrow, immediately seeming to clock Ann’s emotional state.
