Summary
Following the events of "The End of the Fortress" Spy proposes to Medic that they should run away together but get caught before they can proceed. But what if they didn't? What if they got away for real and had to manage on their own? How would the RED team cope with the majority of their support gone? And what of BLU?This Fic explores those questions and more in my reimagining of the "Magifenct Nine" SFM series. It takes a more character-driven and emotional approach to the AU. With, of course, a big focus on Gentle Surgery. What started as a rewrite fic snowballed into basically an entirely different story.
