Summary
Wriothesley sets the strawberries on the table, offering them to Neuvillette, “Would you like to do the honors, Monsieur? Show me how it’s done?”
With a small nod, Neuvillette skewers a strawberry and carefully slips it beneath the falling chocolate, rotating it until it's nicely covered. Once he’s sure it won’t make a mess once removed, he offers it to Wriothesley.
“As my guest, you should get the first taste.”
“Ever the gentleman.” Wriothesley says. Rather than taking the skewer from his hand, Wriothesley leans over to take a bite. He gives the clearly flustered Iudex a small wink as he settles back in his chair.
