Summary
“I will not be another greedy man's damsel in distress,” the fairy snarls, his eyes glowing yellow with rage. “I should gut you right here, right now. Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t.”Eddie stares up at him in awe, his jaw dropped as his gaze quickly darts across the fairy’s face. Even full of rage and hatred, the man above him looks ethereal. Now that he’s grown in size Eddie can make out the fine lace-like veins throughout his wings. They’re iridescent and shine like sunlight on the late evening tide. Moles dot across his skin like long-lost constellations, painting him like the night sky itself. He’s seething with rage above him and Eddie’s never been more in love.“You’re beautiful,” Eddie’s mouth moves before he can stop it and when his brain finally catches up with him he slaps a hand over his mouth with wide eyes.
