Reyna's walk through New Rome leads her through the plaza, filled with idling citizens enjoying the late August midafternoon, playing children running around the open space with reckless abandon, and diligent workers dutifully tending to shops and carts. It’s a peaceful, prosperous New Rome; not burdened by the shadow of war.It’s a shame that she doesn’t know how to live in the light outside that shadow.~Drew's walk through New Rome University campus is quick and uneventful, especially since she’s perfected the resting bitch face glare that stops people from thinking they can talk to her. The last thing she needs is more people trying to use her or try to hurt her. Isolation and distance is safe, especially from the mostly Roman strangers she’s surrounded by most days here.----------------------------------------------------Or, Reyna and Drew are both struggling within themselves, but turns out pairing up for lab might just help them both.
