Summary
The Vignettes are short stories written during the transition between finishing EQG:SAO Aincrad and writing EQG:SAO Ruby Palace. They are not the official start of Ruby Palace, that would be the Pilot Episodes, but they are part of it. They cover the girls getting into and preparing for the foreign exchange program. They are fun bits and give some more background than the pilot episodes could cover. They are published separately in order to not bog down the main story.
