He wasn’t into the…punk type, and Soap was so very punk he almost felt out of a magazine cover. Or a bad movie archetype. His mohawk styled up into liberty spikes, cut sleeves of his jacket threading from poor conditions, or maybe it was the style.So many pins and patches on his jacket. So many fuck the military slogans, in varying ways. In some way, his cold shoulder to John was to protect him from his own disgust. Ghost wasn’t particularly proud of having fought in wars. He’s seen things, he’s done things, it wasn’t the glory he thought it’d be. Then again, he wasn’t there for glory, more any shithole that would get him away from his dumpster fire of a family. He just happened to be really good at his job.
