Legacy

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife, at leastNarcissa Malfoy thought so.It was still a bit too early for her son to marry, the little boy was only five, but she already had her eyes fixed on someone.Hermione Granger, although still just a child, was a powerful girl with a bright future ahead of her. With being a Dukes daugther and having so much control of her magic that young, Hermione would achieve great things once she is of age, sowhen Naricssa struck a deal with the girl's parents, promising her hand in marriage, she couldn't keep the smile from her face. But there was only one problem. As resquested by the girl's father, neither parents could tell their kids they were to be wed someday.Mr. Granger wanted his daugther to be able to form a true love bond, he feared that if the truth was out, only a bond out off duty would be formed instead. He would not have that.So they compromised. They would tell their kids the truth once they graduated, leaving them the opportunity to fall in love without obligation.
