The thing is, Steve has become convinced he’s cursed. Not like… Vecna cursed, or anything, just sort of doomed when it comes to love. He loves hard, falls fast, and it seems like no one else can keep up with him. He’s either too intense, or too much, or just isn’t what the other person is looking for. A placeholder. Someone to bide time with until something or someone better comes along. It’s been his fate ever since Nancy dumped him for Jonathon.He’d thought Eddie was going to be the one, though. Two years they’ve been together and it’s been perfect.
