A City of Orphans

Gotham City is known for a lot of things and known by a lot of different names. The Bloody City of the East Coast, Crime City, heck, Gotham’s even been called Deadtown by some southerners who made the mistake of passing through. It’s no secret that Gotham has its issues; they’re extremely well known, and maybe even better published.Something that’s lesser known about Gotham, however, is something that is perhaps more essential to the very bones of the city. Something which acts almost like a curse on the place, which weighs down the citizens of the city until they snap.Gotham is known to some people as the City of Orphans.
