Summary
A remixed version of The Adventure of the Dying Detective, told from Holmes' perspective.
Mrs. Hudson goes to fetch Dr. Watson two hours earlier than Sherlock Holmes intends, and the detective finds himself faced with an impossible task: he must hold the good doctor close by for long enough to convince him to fetch the murderer at hand, but far enough away to keep him from discovering that the would-be murder victim is not truly dying at all.
Two hours can be a very long time, indeed.
