Of Feathers and Fen A

Mercy is just doing her best to survive. But her novel isn't selling as well as she'd hoped, so the struggling writer has to work part-time at a coffee shop to make ends meet. Mercy also has a secret, she sees things. Not in a needs-to-take-medication kind of way, she actually sees otherworldly beings, and does her best to ignore them to avoid trouble. But when Mercy accidentally slips up and catches the attention of a particularly attractive otherworldly being, she finds herself thrust into a strange world of magic and chaos that she never dreamed actually existed. Will she spread her wings and fly easily between the two worlds she now has ties to? Or will she fall flat, and find herself stuck in her part-time job forever? This story is also being posted on RoyalRoad.
