Summary
Nightmare loved summer, and he loved spending the long days cooped up the library. He could spend hours and hours reading, and he always got so engrossed in the books. So Nightmare didn’t smell the smoke, he didn’t hear the yelling and shuffling of people, hidden in his own little corner of the library, he only noticed the flames after they approached him.Only after the heat became more than the summer sun could ever be, only after the smoke had filled the air and he couldn’t breathe, only after the books caught flame and caused the shelves they were on to collapse, caging him in the corner, did he realize that the building was burning down. And he was going to go with it.
