Draxum stood in the doorway, smoke still rising from his shoulders. His hair looked charred, and he smelled of ash and burning plastic and flesh. He thrust the cardboard box in his arms towards Donatello. “You will care for these while I repair what the human has destroyed of my lab.”Donatello stared for a long moment before creeping forward and taking the box quickly into his arms, looking into it.Four tiny turtles with toddler limbs and chubby cheeks piled together in the center of the box, shivering.…Donatello was imprisoned by Draxum, after a conflict of opinions broke their tentative alliance.
