Summary
Against a less trained eye Kaldur stiffness might have been seen as normal. But Dick had years of studying Kaldurs movements, his microexpressions. The result was that Dick could usually always tell when Kaldur was lying, or at least he used to be able to. The undercover mission had thrown the skill deeply into question. The skill rarely came in handy anyway, because Kaldur didn’t usually lie to him. But illuminated by the odd glow of the med bay lamp, there was something in the man's eyes that Dick couldn’t place. It had been there since Conner died, Dick had at first called it grief and hoped a break would soothe it out of him. But even post Conners return, it remained, lurking, a tension that Dick had not seen before in Kaldurs stance, an unfamiliar heaviness under the brow, it unnerved him.In which Dick attempts to out avoid Kaldur and accidentally goes veering into anxiousness.
