It's not like Palm expects life on the island to be easy. Far from it, actually. They’re on the run, and Nueng is understandably frustrated, and they’re living in a motel that belongs to a woman that’s supposed to be Palm’s mother. So. It’s a lot.Still, she didn’t expect so much of the hard part of this situation being the fact that Palm and Nueng share a room now. (That’s misleading. The issue isn’t that they share a room. In fact, Palm finds out, Nueng is an extremely careful roommate because she’s never had one before and she doesn’t want to mess up.
