rubble rebuilt (yet again destroyed)

The erasure hero had long since started toiling over the void in his life, something he tried so desperately to ignore for the past few years. There was just something that wasn’t yet there, something that couldn’t be filled with cats, coffee, or even Hizashi Yamada. And that something would come to Shouta in the form of a child, standing amidst the chilly rain infused air that swirled and cascaded like waterfalls, crashing onto the ledge he stood on. His dark curly hair clinging to soaked skin, covering his eyes, hiding the onslaught of tears that imitated the rain. His fists clenched in small bunches at his side, holding tight onto the ruined too big t-shirt that swallowed him whole, wrappings and bandages covering his arms and legs. The child’s feet were bare, a pair of socks balled up on the ground, purposefully placed and forgotten.
