Summary
Severus sees the Mirror of Erised for the first time when aiding in the set up of the security measures in protection of the stone. Albus had warned him against looking into its reflection if he ever stumbled upon it. Severus knows very well what he will see but that does nothing in stopping him from pulling back the covers and taking in the sight. He isn’t prepared for the rush of emotions to come, but truthfully, he doesn’t think he could ever be ready.
