Summary
Malice destroys everything it touches. Flesh, monsters, stone, wood all dissolve into nothing when exposed. Link should be happy the Sheikah Slate isn't a pile of sludge after dropping it into a puddle of the stuff but when it won't turn on again all he can do is feel stupid for his clumsiness and wonder how he's supposed to do anything at all without the tool he's come to rely on.--Link spends a few days without the Sheikah Slate, is grateful he has good friends, travels halfway across the country, has several emotional breakdowns, and acquires a backpack.
