Summary
I wasn't going to post this, but I figured, hey, I post so much other nonsense that I might as well. This was the writing exercise I did to get into Luke's head back when I took an accidental hiatus. There's limitations to a fic that's from a single pov because you miss out on some of the nuances of the other characters, and I think Luke in particular has a lot of nuance to him that gets overlooked. I'm trying to draw some of it out, but the thing is that no two people, even psychic ones, really understand each other perfectly, so the construct you have of, say, your brother in your head is not going to map perfectly to who your brother really is, so you're responding to someone who is almost real but not exactly the real person you're talking to when you have a conversation. I think about this a lot, and it messes me up. ANYWAY, that's a very long introduction for a very short little exercise.
