Summary
Alec has been avoiding his parents since his kiss with Magnus during the Mortal War. He doesn't want to talk to them about it, but he knows he will eventually have to. The day of the victory celebration, Alec goes to the Penhallows to get something to wear for the party. While he's there, he runs into his mom and they have a talk. (Takes place during City of Glass, right before the victory celebration at the end of the book.)
