ribcage made of thorn

Simon and Johnny were childhood best friends. Johnny had a condition where he was so prone to becoming sick very easily that Simon had to be extremely overprotective towards him.At the age of 17, Johnny sadly passed away, and Simon, broken-hearted and devastated, decided to join the army. But the universe had another plan for them, as they met again 20 years later—when Price introduced his nephew, the 20 year-old John, to Simon..Ghost was caught off guard. Not only for the blatant fact that this John—Soap—was a literal replica of his Johnny, physically and all, it's also certainly a bit uncanny that the way he talks, smiles, and the slight curve of his lips when he holds his laugh were also the same. Then, when Ghost's heart skipped a beat the same as the first time he realized he'd fallen in love with Johnny all decades ago the moment Soap was smiling at him, he felt as if the universe was playing a joke on him.And a cruel one at that.
