Summary
“I’d make a joke about how you looked like you’ve seen a ghost earlier but seeing as I’m not even sure I’m not actually one, it seems kind of uncalled for,” a voice commented, and it wasn’t the familiar voice of any of his crew members that Law had admittedly been waiting to find him sooner or later. The island wasn’t that big and there were only so many places someone could hide. The last person he had expected to show up here was the newly resurrected, former Fire Fist, though.Law merely grumbled a “Fuck off” because he really wasn’t in the mood for a stupid conversation and he certainly wasn’t in the mood to make new acquaintances anytime soon. Not that the other man seemed to care because he hopped over to the flat stone tilted above the water and simply sat down next to Law, legs sprawled out without a care in the world.“For what it’s worth—and I know none of this is something I could have even thought to influence—I’m sorry,” the other man stated after a beat of silence, both of them staring out at the vast sea that was bathed in pale moonlight, the sun long since having gone down and the festivities were clearly still going on by the sounds of it.
