Summary
Recently re-read the amazing work There's No Place Like Home by StellaLuna365 and got a bit inspired for this story. Basically fills in a little gap between chapters 20 and 21, and follows Lion and co, rather than Alex. A little ficlit because I got inspired. This short story has two parts, part 1 (Chapter 1) Is where they get to him in time and everything is okay (relatively) and part 2 (chapter two) is an au where everything is not okay and Alex dies.CW - Suicide - with StellaLuna365's story at this point Alex has gone to kill himself, so please keep that in mind as you go into it.
