How To Outstalk A

IF YOU ARE HERE AND HAVE READ MY OTHER WORKS, I PROMISE THEY'RE NOT ABANDONED.With that out of the way, some backstory: a week or so ago, my beta reader said, "You know how in fics Tim almost always wants to be friends with Jason? I want to see one where he doesn't instantly latch on to Jason, something more realistic/something where Jason is reaching out to Tim like, "Hey, want to be friends? Want to team up? Watch a movie together?" (Not her exact words, but eh)I have not Found any fics like these. (Tell me if you Find any, please and thank you.)And thus, this was born. However, it very quickly mutated into something that is Not The Prompt. Then it kept on mutating. Now I have nearly four chapters written. I think there might end up being around seven or eight total, though that is NOT set in stone. *Shudders in horrified delight* nothing is when you're writing.Neither of us (me and beta reader) have ever read any canon besides Wayne Family Adventures, so everyone's personalities are going to be taken from a mix of that and fanon. I'll try and put notes on what I'm *pretty sure* is canon and what I *know* is fanon, but canon is, in the end, whatever I want it to be. Also, I'm going to try to NOT include Bruce because of his . . . wildly varying personality, but it may become impossible not to because of the plot, in which case I'll probably base his characterization off of WFA. Bad Dad Bruce depresses me, even if it's canon lol.I also absolutely cannot write a story where the entire plot is JUST about interpersonal relationships. I need action, both because I like it and because it helps to have a plot other than "two brothers try to be brothers and fail and then succeed" or whatever this story has turned into since this isn't a one shot. I also may get a little bit dark, but if you're here, you've . . . probably read darker.Finally, the words in bold at the beginning of chapters are song lyrics that I feel fit the story!
