They were three days into the Olympics, and Charles had yet to try the infamous muffins being served in the village. It seemed like everyone and their mother were losing their minds over how good the muffins were, but the cafeteria was always out whenever Charles came by between events.It wasn’t like he was dying to try them. Quite frankly, Charles had bigger concerns than tracking down a small bread item. One of these concerns is making the Men’s Sabre finals tomorrow. As much as he was a favorite to medal, he still had to get through multiple rounds of qualifying before that. Anything could happen between now and then.Logic dictates that Charles should be focused on preparing himself for that. His coach, Andrea, suggested meditation or stretching. However, the only muscles Charles wanted to stretch were his fingers as he wrung the neck of whoever kept taking the fucking muffins.---or, Charles and Max, fencing rivals, get into conflict about the distribution of muffins in the Olympic Village. If it doesn't end in violence, it might just end with a date.
