Summary

Remus watched as his friends struggled against the monsters who had disturbed their peace, and for a moment, he felt hopeless. He was supposed to be the reliable one. He was the one that got them out of trouble and repaired the damages. But there was absolutely nothing he could do to make this situation better. And then he saw the sword. He bolted over to it as soon as he registered what it was, pulling it out of whatever podium it was lodged into instantaneously. It shined, fitting perfectly into his hand, as though he was meant to hold it. He was instantly back to where the creatures lurked, attacking at whatever seemed to move, and sliced through them with ease. Remus had only used a sword a handful of times- his preferred weapon being a bow and arrow- but there was no denying the skill he used with that sword. Soon enough, the once aggressive monsters were nothing but corpses on the ground. It was only then that Remus relaxed his body, trying catch his breath, his eyes scanning the area for any other predators."My," a voice spoke, "I was not expecting to meet you today, young warrior."orRemus goes from a simple, chaotic life with his friends, to being expected to save all of Phoenix.
