Summary
Edwin looks toward the light and Charles feels his own face fall, certain for a moment that Edwin is about to leave him behind. But when the other ghost looks at him, confused and mind seemingly running so quickly all the thoughts sound silent, Charles feels his own grin breaking out again and just knows he and Edwin are about to leave this attic together."I'm afraid we need to run," Edwin sounds strained but Charles grins wider."We?" He repeats, just to confirm."Now, Charles," Edwin is moving towards the door and Charles doesn't wait a half second before following. The door is pulled open and surely it would've been quicker to just pass through it? Aren't they running from Death herself now? Charles grabbed hold of Edwin's elbow as they both ran through the doorway, pulling the other ghost away from that blue light upstairs. OR"Edwin Hates Running" but make it Charles-centric.
