Summary
It’s been ten years since Max left Arcadia Bay for the second time, overwhelmed by the grief of having to sacrifice Chloe. In those years she has dedicated herself to her craft as a means of coping with the pain. She has built a new life for herself in Vermont as an artist in residence at Caledon University. In the midst of a rocky, on-off relationship with Safiya Llewelyn-Fayyad, Max receives an invite to have her work displayed in a prestigious exhibition at Le Centre Pompidou in Paris. But the past isn’t done with Max. A butterfly, a photograph that shouldn’t exist - echoes from Arcadia Bay are calling to her. Could this be her final chance?
