Army Dreamers

Jericho Cree's story begins far before he meets the Ocean, it begins far before her sister and her were forced to form by the resets. If I had to pick a moment in time his story truly started, it would be the first time he truly began to question the gods and the worlds they had built around him. It would be here.When writing Jerry with Seb there was a big part of his character that was inspired by the fact that he was a past overworld soldier. His mannerisms, his anxiety, and his willingness to fight all came from that place with the knowledge that this is a man who's seen some shit- especially since he canonically lied about his age to join the army sooner at 16. Moreover, the relationships that he has outside of Ocie within the story were also formed or strained during the war.Here is a story dedicated to just a glimpse into what the war could've been like. It's such a huge part of the story of Fable and I adore it as a concept.
