The Court Clerk sits -like in a normal court- lower but in front of the judge.Dainsleif gets arrested for poaching -which within Fontaine is a serious crime lore-wise. While sentenced, the Twilight Sword caught Neuvillette's attention. His lack of care towards the verdict -as Dainsleif has nothing to lose when going to the Fortress, unlike some- as well as his clear Khaenri'an(?) features. After having carried out his (short) sentence, Neuvillette decides to seek contact with Dainsleif once more. They get into casual chatter, though not making their comradeship public due to the risk of a public outlash -just imagine what it'd be like learning the Chief Justice of Fontaine was friends with a criminal! This casual chatter slowly progressed into something more different. And as people forgot about Dainsleif's "crimes", their relationship starts to slowly take a twist into something else...
