Summary
Outside the wind had picked up, causing Godaiin to pull his jacket tighter around himself. Rin side-eyed him to gauge whether or not he should offer his hoodie (cozy as it was, he didn’t really need it.) It was still nice though, walking together over the cobblestone path, their shoulders almost close enough to brush. Not for the first time, Rin felt the urge to rub himself against Godaiin— some demonic instinct telling him to leave his scent so the smaller demons would know he was one of Rin’s. Honestly, that one was a constant companion these days.“Do you show your drawing to anyone else? Roommates? Your friends?”, Rin asked, suddenly curious.Godaiin shook his head. “No, only you.”Rin knocked their shoulders together. “Aw, you mean I’m special?” It was a joke, meant to tease him.Instead of denying it or rolling his eyes at it though, Godaiin answered: “Of course, you are.”Rin’s lungs felt curiously empty. His cheeks were hot, suddenly and in the dark, he couldn’t tell if Godaiin noticed.
