Summary
It’s what he tells himself as he quickly swipes through his contacts, and taps on the one he’s looking for, tone ringing dully in his ears. He's busy with celebrations, he's not gonna answer, he’s not—
Yeah?
He can hear the smile in his voice, the barely suppressed airy chuckles already making their dearly missed appearance; the ones he lets out when Aaron says something—anything really it doesn't have to be particularly funny, absolutely anything at all. Actually it gets worse when it's not funny, Forsy ends up laughing harder, his whole body shaking with it. Aaron swallows, his throat making a clicking noise he desperately hopes his phone doesn't pick up.
"Helicopter, huh," is what comes floundering out of his mouth to his utter detriment and horror. It's a bit pointed despite the fact he tries to come off as airy in spite of himself.
Helicopter, Forsy agrees. I thought it might be nice to take the Cup up for a ride, you know?
Forsy has his Cup day and Aaron finds out about the festivities he's gotten up to through an NHLdotcom article—and other riveting ways to find out your d-partner is using his day with the Cup to torture you specifically.
