Summary
During Season 9 when Cas is human, and working at the Gas n Sip, calling himself Steve...prompt from Tumblr, : human Cas asked Dean to be his Valentine so he could experience 'human' things.
'He paused before he knocked, he could see Cas’ dark head, hanging forward slightly. The flickering light of a television was throwing shadows across the curtains. He edged along the porch and strained to see further into the room. It appeared Cas was alone, and sleeping in front of the TV. Dean sighed, at the heartbreaking, lonely, normality of it.'
